Description : The second part of the “Secondary Techniques” series deals with stalls in hand-to-hand combat.
Such methods are considered secondary to the main goal – proactive impact through our preemptive strike, in other words – a quick transfer of the opponent to the ground is often used as a controlled, non-traumatic transition from stance to ground.
Depending on the severity of the situation and the rules for the use of force, the goal may be either to knock down and control an inadequate opponent on the ground or, for a guard or police officer, switch to handcuffing.
Or, in more severe conditions, when the level of threat corresponds to the level of force used, we are looking for opportunities to use the environment during a stall – hitting walls or floors to increase combat effectiveness.
Here we look at various simple dynamic stalls, all movements are natural and combat-tested, as are all good hand-to-hand combat techniques.
This DVD is a great addition to all previous UC programs, and a must-have addition to your hand-to-hand DVD library.
Add. Information : This DVD is part of the Secondary Tools series. As you know, Lee Morrison refers to the primary techniques as a palm strike, a slap on the ears, a hammer strike, a strike with the edge of the palm, elbow and knee strikes. In addition to this set of killer techniques, secondary techniques are designed to answer “What if …” questions and specific situations. This series (at the time of distribution) consists of:
1. Low-Line Hard Skills (low-kicks and trampling blows)
2. Combative Takedowns (stalls in hand-to-hand combat) – in this hand
3. Subject Control & Restraint (control and restraint of the attacker)
4. Attacking from an Extreme Close Quarters
5. Chokes & Strangles
